Gurukul College of Education is a prestigious educational institute offering teachers the compulsory training necessary to justify their role as professional teachers. Our college founded its Teacher Training Department in the year 2012. This Department exclusively trains teachers and is run entirely on the funding received from the Gurukul Educational Welfare Trust. Our College is precisely located in the Thakurbari Road at Balia area of Bindol, Uttar Dinajpur district of West Bengal state.

Gurukul College of Education is a B. Ed College in Raiganj, Uttar Dinajpur. The B. Ed course is provided by the Bachelor of Education Department which is recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education (N.C.T.E.). Our College is affiliated to the West Bengal Board of Primary Education (W.B.B.P.E). The B. Ed course spans over a period of 1 year. On completion of the course, teachers receive their B. Ed degree. This B. Ed degree is a valid document approving of the teacher’s capabilities and training. Furthermore, this particular B. Ed degree certifies the teachers to pursue a teaching profession for Upper Primary, Middle Level, Secondary Level, and Senior Secondary Level Classes. We also function as a D.El.Ed College in Raiganj, Uttar Dinajpur. Anyone willing to apply for the D. El. Ed course can apply and receive the appropriate training and certification. This professional course spans over a period of 2 years and allows teachers to pursue a career in teaching the elementary classes (Class I-VIII) in school.
